Bronze statuette of Tirthankara Pārśvanātha. Pārśvanātha, twenty-third Jain or Tirthankara (cross great ocean), is represented with head surmounted with seven-headed cobra (nāga). He is seated in lotus position (padmasana) atop stepped plinth. The figure displays the meditation gesture (dhyana mudra).
