Chinese porcelain platter with Famille verte decoration. Late Kangxi Period


Porcelain platter with Famille verte decoration. Flowered vase in central basin, outer rim decorated with three cartouches enclosing two phoenixes and butterfly flying over gate.
Underneath of platter is painted with flowered branches, checkering and cartouches enclosing carps and shrimp.

China, Late Kangxi Period (1662-1722).

Diameter: 28 cm (11 in.).

Two cracks and one chip on the border underneath.
