Restorations and tears.
Within carved oak frame, Louis XIV Period, re-gilded.

Condition report:
The painting is paper maroufled onto canvas. The maroufle process provoked few scattered bucklings . The painting is under a varnish with impacted dirt. We note restorations on the nose and right of sitter’s chest.
