III) Seven anatomical studies and an architectural perspective study. Pencil, charcoal, pen and ink. Creases, tears. 48 x 57 cm (18-3/4 x 22-1/4 in.); 50 x 39 cm (19-1/2 x 15-1/4 in.) and 29 x 40 cm (11-1/4 x 15-3/4 in.) approximately
IV) Seven lithographs by Llanta representing contemporary artists, famous authors and doctors. Signed and dated Llanta 1831, 1832 and 1833 with dedication "offert à son ami H. Beltz". (given to my friend H. Beltz). Humidity stains, foxings, tears. 56 x 37 cm (22 x 14-1/2 in.).
Within a drawing portfolio covered with blue-painted paper with foliage garland motifs circa 1830.
Henri BELTZ was a student of Baron GROS (1771-1835) and according to the manuscript writings on the drawings, these studies were realized in his studio.
