Pair of covered earthenware vases with bronze mount. Early 20th Century


DIVERS, France

Pair of covered earthenware vases with ovoid-shaped sides. Polychrome decoration with wide white rose garlands and berries on the sides and the cover against a blue-green celadon ground with small crackling in the manner of enamels.
Sides separated by gilt fillets. Galloon on rim with green ground and embellished with blue and red lambrequins.
Marked with a red stamp of a crowned coat of arms and the date 1895. Pierced gilt bronze mount, from the period, in the shape of a leaf.
Leaf grasp handles.
