Pair of lacquered wood and gilt bronze ewers, 18th-19th Century


Pair of gilt-lacquered wood vases mounted as ewers with black ground and decoration of fowl in flowered branches. Gilt bronze mount. Handle topped with chimera.

Late 18th-Early 19th Century

Height: 28,5 cm (11-1/4 in.) - Diameter of plinth: 9 cm (3-1/2 in.)

Splits on one vase and wear on both ewer’s decoration. Hole for the spout is not pierced
