Necklace composed of one strand of coral beads alternating with silver beads with filigree decoration, strung onto a red wool braid.
The coral, heavily collected since Late Antiquity along the wide Algerian coasts, was very popular in local jewelry, hence its nickname “red gold”.

Condition report : Overall good conserved condition. The tips of the braided wool has few pilling.
