TOURS, Jaget and Pinon manufacture
Pair of ovoid shaped earthenware vases on a small circular pedestal with cobalt blue ground, with two disc-shaped handles. They are decorated by a large band with a gilt ground at the handles, embellished in brown with a rolling and wooded landscape in which a stag runs. Gold fillets on rim, mid-section and base.
Print marked JP France along the edge.
Marked under the decoration Pinon-Maurice on one.
Circa 1930
Condition report : Very minor kiln fault on decoration which is hidden by birds in flight.
