Two porcelain plates with Imari decoration in blue underglaze, iron red and gilt enamel with decor known as “cuckoo in the house”. A bird comes back to his post and sees that a second bird has taken his place at the window of a pavilion. Garden embellished with a pierced rock, a peony and banana tree. Outer-rim painted with alternating reserves accommodating bamboo and pine trees.
